Young and talented Steinway pianist Adam Gyorgy from Hungaria will once again visit Indonesia. This time he is going to presents three concerts in Jakarta, Yogyakarta and in Bali. Adam is a prodigy pianist. He went to Bela Bartok Conservatory in Hungaria and Franz Lizt Academy.
On this visit, he wants to show respect and adoration towards Indonesia music composition that is why he is going to play variation of Ismail Marzuki’s most known creation “Indonesia Pusaka”.

BIOGRAPHY
Studies
was accepted to the Bela Bartok Conservatory as a prodigy in 1994. Katalin Halmagyi, piano teacher and Adam György are unseparatable since that moment. He graduated at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest. Currently he is doing his doctoral studies at the Liszt Academy with state scholarship. He has shown his talent on several competitions, too. He won the National Youth Piano Competition in 1998, two years later he partook in the `Pianist 2000` award in Hungary.
Prizes, concerts, media...
In 2002 with his outstanding Haydn interpretation he got the `Vienna Classics Prize` (Wiener-Klassik-Preis) in the capital of Austria. Adam won the Special Prize at the San Remo International Piano Competition in 2003 and all prizes (I. Prize, Grand Prize and Special Prize) at the I. International Chopin Piano Competition, Budapest in 2004
...playing his debut at New York`s Carnegie Hall in 2006; Being invited into the Steinway Artist community in 2005 - among the greatest pianists ever; Being called "the rising star" by CNN World Report in 2004; Winningall prizes (Grand Prize, I. Prize, Special Prize) at the International Chopin Piano Competition Budapest in 2004 and being „Pianist 2000" at his age 18 in his country; Adam Gyorgy is apparently among the best European pianist of his generation at his age of 25.
Adam`s virtso playing powered by the spirit of Liszt, his charming appearance and his improvisations on well-known melodies are making his concerts unforgettable. He has been touring in the United States, among others in New York and Washington DC, and in the Southeast Asian region: Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and China in 2006.
Background
A creative group stands behind his success. The art responsible of the concerts are Katalin Halmagyi, pianist-teacher of the Bela Bartok Conservatory, György Nador, professor of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music and Balazs Reti pianist-teacher of the Academy of Music. His management ensures his concerts and the press releases. Adam is currently continuing his doctoral studies at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music Budapest.
