ADELA MARTÍN began to study piano at the age of six. She studied at the Conservatory of Zaragoza until she obtained the Professional Degree at the age of 17. After that, she continued her studies with Nati Cubells in Barcelona and with the prestigious concert pianist Eulalia Solé at the Music Conservarory in Badalona. Both pianists were Alicia de Larrocha´s pupils.

.As a soloist performer she gave her first recital ar the age of 14. She has given numerous concerts since then, in which her refined technique and great sensitivity prevail, each recital being for Adela Martín a magical moment of devotion and communication between music and audience. She has given concerts and made recordings for radio and televisión in Spain, Russia, Belarus, Romania, Turkey, Jordan , Syria, Lebanon, Greece, Israel, Poland, Italy, France, Morocco, Peru, Haiti, Chile, Mexico, Argentina, U.S.A., Canada, Indonesia, China….in emblematic places such as the Tchaikowski Conservatory in Moscow, the Teatro Español in Madrid, the Throne Room at the Peterhof Palace and the Marble Palace in St. Petersburg, Les Invalides in Paris, the Curci Concert Hall in Naples, the Pederewski Museum in Warsaw, Chopin´s birthplace (at the Polish village of Zelazowa Wola), the George Enescu Nacional Museum in Bucharest, the Belarus Conservatory in Minsk….Among her numerous compositions for the piano, the music for the film Trágala perro, directed by Antonio Artero and premiered at the San Sebastián Film Festival stands out due to public awereness.

She has taken part in national and international festivals, such as the International Music Festival “St Petersburg Palaces, San Sebastian Musical Fortnight, Lima International Contemporary Music Festival, Santiago de Chile International Baroque Music Festival, Yakarta Anniversary Festival III…

From 1987, she was the head piano professor of the Joaquín Maya Music Conservatory in Pamplona. She is currently teaching at the Pablo Sarasate Conservatory in Pamplona, a job which she combines with recitals in Spain and abroad.


One of Adela Martin´s interests is spreading the music of Spanish composers, especfially those from the 20th Century who transmit a great musical richness and variety.
